In 2013, Oceaneering made new User-Friendly Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for their Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV).

Oceaneering SOP

In 2013 Oceaneering started a project to improve their ROV Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 

The objective was to manage human error through better procedures based on a 2011-2012 prestudy. 

The project group included: Arve Iversen, ROV Operations Manager; Jan Einar Schulze, QA System Auditor; Audun Knudsen, Technical Support Manager; Gunnar Gulliksen, ROV Superintendent and Terje Lovoy, External Consultant and Procedure Design Trainer.

The project was completed in 2013 and the new SOP Handbook was launched in 2014.
